Start Yachting is a 2 day introductory sailing course, providing a bite-sized taster session perfect for anyone interested in learning to sail.

Particularly aimed at those with no experience who may be hesitant about commiting to the 5 day liveaboard Competent Crew course, basically allowing them to try before they buy at a fraction of the cost.  

During your 2 days with us you will gain an understanding of sail handling and trimming, helming, nautical terminology, knots and general seamanship, as well as experiencing an insight of life aboard a cruising yacht.

We currently run the 2 days on a non-residential basis, accommodation onboard the yacht is available at 20 euros per person for those looking to maximise the experience.

Start Yachting costs 225 euros p.p for the two days with lunch provided.
