All instructors are fully qualified and have undergone additional training to achieve the RYA/MCA Commercial Endorsement, so rest assured you're in good hands.

Good Instructors will offer clear and detailed explanations prior to demonstrating any tasks that you may be asked to perform. It is important to us that you fully understand how and why things happen rather than just go through the motions. For this reason we only allow 3 students per yacht at any one time, resulting in more 'hands on' experience and less time observing.

Standards are high, yet delivered in a relaxed and friendly manner. A good Skipper never shouts and certainly never compromises your safety.

At Mar Menor Sea School we have a tendency to overteach in a bid to share our knowledge (sorry we can't curb the enthusiasm), the tuition can be intense at times but the emphasis is always on enjoyment. After all, thats why we sail in the first place, but ultimately this only helps to make you a better and safer sailor.
